DEM Controls Becomes the First AVEVA Select Partner in West Africa Certified in Both AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA PI System.
DEM Controls has reached a significant milestone by becoming the first partner in West Africa to earn certified status in both AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA PI System. This accomplishment distinguishes them from other system integrators in the region.
These two certifications are typically not held together; the System Platform focuses on real-time operational control and visualisation, while the PI System specialises in historical and time-series analytics. Most integrators usually concentrate on just one area. However, DEM Controls can now offer both capabilities natively, giving clients a fully integrated data and control environment and eliminating the need to combine solutions from two separate vendors or skill sets.
For operators in West Africa’s utility and industrial sectors, this integration offers practical benefits, including faster deployment, reduced integration risks, and a single partner accountable for the entire system, from the plant floor to the analytics dashboard.
This achievement also underscores AVEVA’s commitment to interoperability.
